Itinerary
Day 1: Travel to Murchison Falls National Park
Pick up by your guide from the Hotel in Kampala in the morning after breakfast and transfer to Murchison falls through the Luwero triangle. On the way, visit Zziwa rhino sanctuary where you will track rhinos and have lunch at the restaurant. Proceed to the park, and head straight to the Jonam community for cultural experience, you shall get to have a feel of the day to day lives of the Jonam. From the Jonam community you shall head to your lodges for dinner, refreshment and overnight stay.

Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park – Game drive and boat cruise
After your breakfast at the lodge and set out for a 2 to 3 hours game drive in Uganda’s largest park (3840sqkm) with a variety of wildlife such as leopards, hippos, lions, warthogs, buffaloes, elephants, antelopes, giraffes, waterbucks as well as different bird species. After the game drive, head to the lodge and have lunch.
In the afternoon, you will head out for the fascinating boat cruise on the Nile where you will see a number of animals along the banks such as elephants, hippos, crocodile, antelopes, and also monkeys and birds will be spotted along to, sail to the bottom of the falls after which you will return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3: Top of the falls and Transfer to Kibaale Forest National Park
Today you wake up early and have breakfast. Checkout from your lodge and meet with your driver guide who shall transfer you to the top of Murchison Falls. You will have time to do photography, after exit the park to Kibaale Forest via Fort portal. Kibaale Forest is one of Africa’s beautiful rain forests and home to 13 primates and most common ones are Chimpanzees. It is also a great place for birders since it harbours over 325 bird species. Driving to this park great scenic views are spotted along the way. If time allows we shall have a nature walk in the evening in the park. Check in to your lodge and relax.

Day 4: Kibaale Forest Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi community walk
After an early Breakfast, head to the park head offices for briefing and after set out for Chimpanzee tracking through the forest. Remember that only 1 hour is given to trackers when they meet with the chimpanzees. On seeing chimpanzees, other primates can be spotted such as the Red Tailed Monkeys, L’Hoest’s Monkeys, Blue Monkeys, Black & White colobus Monkeys among others and also elephants, antelopes, buffaloes can be spotted in the forest.
You will then go back to the lodge for lunch. In the evening, you will go for a walk through the Bigodi wetland where you will see several bird species, baboons, bush babies among other wildlife species. You shall also have a walk through the community. After thee, return to your lodge and relax.

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast set off for a 3 to 4 hours’ drive to Queen Elizabeth which is one of Uganda’s outstanding wildlife National parks with over 600 bird species, several mammal species like elephants, buffaloes among others. During the journey you will enjoy great views including the Rwenzori ranges. On reaching the park go for a game drive in the evening where you will see a number of animals. After the game drive, you shall check in refresh, wait for dinner and relax for the night.

Day 6: Katwe salt mines and boat cruise Along Kazinga Channel
Today after breakfast, head out to the Katwe salt mines and get to learn how salt is made from lake water. You will have time to interact with the people who do the mining and get to hear their side of the story. From the mines, head back for lunch as you prepare for the afternoon 2 hour boat cruise on Kazinga channel which is home to over 550 hippos; also you will spot birds and other animals like crocodiles, elephants, antelopes among others. Return to your lodge and have dinner and refresh.

Day 7 Transfer to Bwindi forest national park via Ishasha
Have breakfast then check out from your lodge. You will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. You will pass via the Ishasha area, pronounced for the famous tree climbing lions. It will take you 3-4 hours to reach the park. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park- the home of the threatened mountain gorillas.

Day 8: Gorilla Tracking and Transfer Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
Talking of gentle giants with a 98% DNA close to that of humans, it’s the Mountain gorillas which made Bwindi Forest their home. Also other species like butterflies, plants, primates, mammals, butterflies, frogs, among others are also found here. After briefing at the headquarters, you will be led by the rangers into the jungle to track gorillas.
This experience usually takes 1 hour to about 8 hours since gorillas move differently also and only 1 hour is granted to capture your greatest moments with the gorillas. Gorilla trekking is quite tiresome and you shall have the evening for refreshment, relaxation as you wait for your driver guide to transfer you to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Day 9: Golden Monkey trekking in Mgahinga gorilla national park
Golden Monkey trekking: You will wake up early in the morning, have an aromatic coffee or tea served with delicious snacks with packed lunch. After the breakfast, your driver or guide will drive you to the briefing point where the golden monkey trekking experience starts, same as the previous day. To your briefing, a ranger guide will share information on what to expect while in the Virunga volcanoes trekking for the golden monkeys.
After your briefing you will then start tracking for golden monkeys since there is much hiking needed you will be joined by porters to help those who are interested and in any case, you may get to meet Elephants and other mammal species in the forest as you track Golden monkeys. These golden monkeys are swift in their movement unlike the mountain gorillas and you will have to follow them as they move to feed. Once you see them, you’re given 1 hour to spend with the golden monkeys see them feeding, playing before you begin your descent back to the lodge for refreshment, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Batwa cultural experience and Drive to Lake Bunyonyi.
Today after breakfast while still in the mood of reminiscing about the previous days gorilla experiences, you will head to the Batwa community and get to engage in their day to day activities as well hearing different stories they have to tell about the forest for they were its Ancient inhibitors. You will have your lunch from there and begin your drive to Lake Bunyonyi, which is Africa’s second deepest lake, a birders spot and paradise. Enjoy the eye-catching landscapes such as the locally terraced interlocking hills where most locals carryout their farming. Also while here you are in the base that was named by British’s great diplomat Winston Churchill as the “Switzerland of Africa”.

Day 11: Lake Bunyonyi
After your breakfast having amazing views from surrounding hills, forests and the beautiful rays of the morning sun. You will head out for a canoe ride on the lake which harbours 29 islands and almost every island with a history such as the Punishment Island – enjoy the stories from the guides on this boat ride. Return to the lodge, have lunch and in the afternoon, take a walk, or hike up the hills to enjoy more spectacular views of forests and lakes, or watch birds, or read a book while relaxing by the lake shores, or swim in the lake which is Bilharzia free and safe for swimming.

Day 12: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park- Home of Zebras
After breakfast, embark on the 4 hours and 30 minutes’ drive to Lake Mburo National Park. One of Uganda’s smallest parks. Have lunch en route, spot stunning sceneries, farms, and plantations. The park is home to a big number of Zebras, also impalas, oribi, buffaloes, warthogs, waterbucks and also over 332 bird species made it their home. When you arrive in the park- in the afternoon go on a boat cruise along Lake Mburo and here, take enough photographs as you would wish.

Day 13: Drive to Kampala
Enjoy an early breakfast, after do a game drive as you continue to Kampala, have a stopover at the Equator line; take photos and also buy some souvenirs from craft shops in case you’re interested. Enjoy lunch still at the Equator .After lunch drive to Jinja located in the East of Uganda and the home of the source of the Nile River. Arrive in the evening and check in.

Day 14: White water rafting and discovering the Nile
Have an early breakfast and head out for today’s activities. The Nile River has its source in Jinja where it starts the 4100 miles journey through different African countries. You will have a guided boat cruise to the source of the Nile. After the boat, go for half day rafting on the rapids which is an adventure and an unforgettable experience. Have lunch and after you could choose to rest at the lodge on the swimming pool or go for optional activities like bungee jumping, kayaking, quad biking or Horse riding

Day 15: Basoga cultural experience and Return to Kampala / Entebbe International Airport
This is the last day of your safari, after your breakfast, meet with your driver guide who will transfer you to the Basoga community for your cultural experience and immersion in the Basoga’s day to day life.
Have lunch and then leave for Kampala/ Entebbe international airport for your flight back home.
