Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport
On your arrival at Entebbe airport, you will be picked up by our representative, your driver guide, who will brief you about the day’s program and transfer you to your place of accommodation. You will do a city tour in the afternoon and visit local sights depending on your time.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls with stopover for Rhino Tracking After Morning Breakfast Your driver will pick you from your Accommodation and head out for Murchison falls. The highlights of this park include; the roaring rapids of the Murchison, the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest National Park where you will have the chance of viewing lions, giraffes, hartebeest, buffalo, safari holiday Uganda and elephants. Then surely you will be fascinated by the concentration of hippos and the Nile crocodiles here. For birders, Murchison Falls boasts 450 bird species including the elusive shoe-bill stork, dwarf king fisher, the white-thigh hornbill, and the Goliath heron among others.
En route, make a stopover at Zziwa Rhino sanctuary for your first Big 5 experience where you will have an hour of rhino tracking. Another stop will be in Masindi in order to enjoy your lunch which after you will Continue to the park and check in to your accommodation to relax for the Evening.

Day 3: Morning game drive and launch trip to the base of the falls After an early breakfast, drive through the Northern section of Murchison with a high concentration of savannah wildlife. Enjoy game viewing and photography of elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, giraffes, Uganda kobs and lions, the leopards (if you are lucky) plus a variety of bird species. Return to your accommodation for lunch.
In the afternoon after your lunch. You will head for the launch trip to the base of the falls. This trip is said to be the highlight of the safari in Murchison falls since it allows you to get up close to the animal species within the water. Cruise past huge hippo pods, crocodiles, bathing buffalo, and numerous aquatic birds adorning the north bank on the way to the mighty waterfalls. You will have an opportunity to take thousands of pictures (and so carry your camera with you if you like). Also, proceed for a hike (if you like) to the top of the falls. The hike is a strenuous one but the thrill on reaching the top is unforgettable. Miss it only if you must! Return to your accommodation thereafter.

Day 4: Transfer from Murchison Falls to Kibale Forest National Park Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge and drive to Kibale Forest; you will take pleasure in the gorgeous scenery of this countryside which makes the journey more exciting. Have your lunch en route in Fort portal town and continue as you will have great vies of the Rwenzori ranges. Check in at your lodge. “safari holiday Uganda”. In the afternoon, you could go for a guided nature walk in Bigodi wetland which is home to various birds and primate species. Later return to your lodge.

Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking, and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP
Get up so early for breakfast and head to the park, where you will be briefed and later start off with Chimpanzee trekking in the forest. Kibale forest is among the charming places well-known for different primates and several crater lakes within Uganda. In the morning you will see the chimps in their natural environment. Chimps are exciting and this very close encounter will reward you with a memorable experience on your trip. After the tracking you will return to the lodge and have lunch.
After lunch you will drive to the Mweya peninsula in Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will arrive in the late afternoon. Check in to your lodge and relax.

Day 6: Lion Tracking – Afternoon Boat cruise – Community walk to Lake
Katwe salt mining village
In the morning after your early breakfast, you will have an opportunity to contribute to an important conservation program in Queen Elizabeth NP. On this unique Lion Tracking research trip you will follow a research team, off the safari jeep tracks and into the bush, in search of one of the lion prides in the park. A tracking device in the vehicle will lead you directly to the lions where you will spend some time observing these charismatic cats. The data collected by the researchers will further aid the conservation program in the park, while you get a unique and intimate insight into the lives and habits of these fascinating predators. You will return to your lodge for lunch.
Later in the day when the sun is high in the sky and the animals make their way to the river for a drink, we will head to Kazinga Channel for a launch trip. You will spot more hippos today than you can possibly imagine. Herds of elephants and buffalo will also wander down to the shoreline to bathe in the cooling waters. The launch trip is a fantastic way to get close to wildlife and for many visitors the trip is the highlight of their visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 7: Morning game drive – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable NP via Ishasha sector
After your morning coffee, head out for a game drive to look for wildlife on the Kasenyi track of the park. Common sightings here are; elephant, warthog, water buck, Kob, leopard, lions, hyena, and buffalo then drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest NP via Ishasha sector which is famous for its tree climbing lions, for another game drive to look for the tree climbing lions.
Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park a home to the famous half of the worlds endangered mountain gorillas. A magnificent verdant swathe across the steep ridges of the Albertine Rift Valley, this ancient rain forest -one of the few in Africa to have flourished throughout the last Ice Age -is home to roughly half of the world’s mountain gorillas. Arrive to check in and have lunch, relax or go for an evening village walk and shopping at the craft market before dinner. At an altitude of up to 2,607 meters (8553ft). Expect some cooler temperatures in the evening.

Day 8: Gorilla trekking and Batwa Community Visit Dance Experience
Encountering the rare and endangered Mountain Gorillas of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is an experience of a lifetime. Half of the world’s population of gorillas live under the mist-covered canopies of Uganda’s oldest and most biologically diverse rainforest. In the company of an experienced park ranger you will be tracking the whereabouts of one of the nine habituated family groups who live in the park. Your tracking experience will be an exciting, yet challenging, journey along forested (often muddy and slippery) slopes, tangled vines, thick vegetation and bamboo forests before you reach the territory of these gentle giants. En-route, your ranger will point out telltale signs of previous gorilla activity like dung, nests and chewed bamboo shoots. Depending on the location of the gorillas on any given day the walk can take anything from 2 to 7 hours. Once the family of gorillas has been located, settle in to your surroundings and enjoy the hour you have to quietly observe these fascinating primates whose habits and mannerisms remind us so much of our own.
Encountering the mountain gorillas in the wild is a truly humbling and emotional experience, one that you are sure to remember for the rest of your life. After Gorilla Trekking then you will continue for a community walk which takes you to meet the ancient heritage of the Batwa that used to inhabit the forest for over 500 years however, they were forced out of the forest for conservation process. They will entertain you through their cultural dance and music as well as giving you their historic stories. Retreat from any activity of your choice and relax at the lodge

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After Morning breakfast on your time, you will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi, passing in Village, where you will find locals in there garden and best view from Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and a thousands of hills up to Kabale Town. The lake is framed by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of (2,200 – 2,478m) but it’s the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water that make it most magical — you could admire them all day.

Day 10: A full day relaxation on Lake Bunyonyi
Wake up and take your breakfast as you prepare for a day full of fun. The first thing to do is enjoy the beautiful sounds of birds in the morning. The lake has an amazing collection of birds including, egrets, grey crowned cranes, hawks, herons, levillant cuckoo, Rufus breathed wryneck, weaver birds and the white tailed blue monad among many others. Take a stroll along the lake shores to spot some of the birds as you wait for the Driver Guide. The Guide will take you to visit the Batwa and Abaheesi Community of blacksmiths. The Batwa of Lake Bunyonyi live mostly in the Orugano forest, Echuya Forest and surrounding areas. Spend time and interact with them as you learn about how they make ends meet. You might also find visiting the Bukora Cave interesting.
Afterwards, you can walk back to the lodge for lunch before proceeding for a boat ride or canoeing. You will be taken to visit the beautiful islands where you will get even better views of the lake, 3 Days Uganda Safari to Lake Bunyonyi surrounding areas, rolling hills and terraces. Most of the islands are named after the dominant bird species there. One particular island is known as the punishment island. The Bakiga tribe living in the area once had a cruel culture of abandoning all girls who got pregnant before marriage in this particular island. They were left there to die since most couldn’t swim. Most of the girls were eventually rescued by the men who had impregnated them or bachelors who couldn’t pay the bride price required by parents of virgins.
You will interact with the people, visit some of the schools and health facilities. If you are the inquisitive type, you might want to visit the local traditional healer in one of the islands. “safari holiday Uganda”. Day 11: Transfer to Lake Mburo NP and enjoy afternoon (evening) game viewing
Have breakfast and set off to Lake Mburo NP via Mbarara town. You will arrive in the early afternoon and take some rest before proceeding out for the late afternoon (evening) game viewing. On the game drive, expect to see the gigantic eland antelopes, zebras, Topi, impalas, Uganda Kob and Cape buffalos among others. Later, return to your lodge and relax.
Optional: In case you are interested, you may go out for the breathtaking Mburo night game drive (at an extra cost on the ground). During the night game drive, expect to sight nocturnal creatures including snakes, hyena, owls and the elusive leopard (on a lucky day) among others.

Day 12: Mburo park (bush) walk and transfer to Entebbe International Airport
Enjoy your early breakfast and proceed for the Mburo morning park (bush) walk in the presence of an armed Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger/guide. On this early morning guided walk; you will have the opportunity to encounter (at close range): Zebras, Giraffes and Eland, Topi and other antelope, Cape buffaloes among others.
Take the Trail to the top of the hills and see Lake Mburo and beyond. From this vantage point, you will have a great view of 9 of the twelve lakes surrounding Lake Mburo NP. Thereafter, you will drive back to lodge for lunch and then transfer back to Entebbe International Airport. End of 12 Safari Holiday Uganda Trip.
